Finding somewhere to live isn’t always easy, but Lettings First are here to help you move into private rented accommodation in Lambeth that’s right for you and your family. We can support you every step of the way, from putting you in touch with estate agents, to helping you apply for housing benefit and even covering some of your costs at the start of a new tenancy.
Qualifying Offers - what does this mean?
Until recently, if you had applied to Lambeth for social housing, you would be placed in temporary accommodation and would stay there until you received your offer of council housing. You would have one offer only and would have no choice about where you would like to live or the type of accommodation offered.
This has now changed
If you have decided that you want to find your own accommodation, perhaps near that school your children want to go to or near family and friends, Lettings First can assist you to do this and provide a deposit to enable you to move into the home of your choice. For more information on qualifying offers contact Jim on 020 7926 2950
NB The subsidy on temporary accommodation rental charges stopped on 10 November 2008. This means that the rent for temporary accommodation for a family is now £303.00 per week.
